Claims (7)
- 수납공간이 형성되고, 상기 수납공간에 반사판, 램프 어셈블리, 도광판, 시트류들이 차례대로 적재되는 몰드프레임과;상기 시트류들의 상부에 설치되고, 게이트 입력패드들이 외부로 노출된 게이트 영역과, 데이터 입력패드들이 외부로 노출된 소스 영역이 구비된 LCD 패널과;상기 LCD 패널과 전기적으로 연결되어 상기 몰드프레임의 후면에 위치하고 출력패드들이 형성된 인쇄회로기판과;상기 몰드프레임의 측면을 따라 180°절곡되어 상기 LCD 패널과 상기 인쇄회로기판을 전기적으로 연결시키며, 상기 LCD 패널을 구동시키는 구동드라이브 IC가 실장된 테이프 캐리어 패키지를 포함하며,상기 구동드라이브 IC가 실장된 상기 테이프 캐리어 패키지의 상부면은 상기 LCD 패널에 전기적으로 연결되며,상기 테이프 캐리어 패키지의 하부면은 상기 테이프 캐리어 패키지가 상기 몰드프레임의 후면과 상기 인쇄회로기판 사이에 배치되도록 상기 인쇄회로기판에 전기적으로 연결되는 것을 특징으로 하는 엘씨디 모듈.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 몰드프레임은 상기 인쇄회로기판과 본딩된 상기 테이스 캐리어 패키지의 상기 구동드라이브 IC 영역을 수납하기 위해 상기 인쇄회로기판과 접하는 후면의 소정 깊이만큼 깎여진 TCP 수납부를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 엘씨디 모듈.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 테이프 캐리어 패키지는베이스 필름;상기 구동드라이브 IC의 출력리드들과 연결되며, 상기 베이스 필름의 길이 방향을 따라 형성되어 상기 LCD 패널에 전기적으로 연결되는 출력배선들;상기 구동드라이브 IC의 입력리드들과 연결되며, 상기 베이스 필름의 길이 방향을 따라 형성되어 상기 인쇄회로기판에 전기적으로 연결되는 입력배선들; 및상기 입력배선들 및 상기 출력배선들을 외부 환경으로부터 보호하기 위해 상기 베이스 필름의 상부면에 형성된 솔더 레지스트막을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 엘씨디 모듈.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 입력배선들은 상기 테이프 캐리어 패키지의 일단과 타단에 상기 테이프 캐리어 패키지의 폭방향을 따라 형성된 윈도우를 통하여 실질적으로 상기 테이프 캐리어 패키지의 하부면으로 연장되는 것을 특징으로 하는 엘씨디 모듈.
- 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 도광판은 하부면이 소정기울기로 기울어져 상기 램프 어셈블리에 대응하는 측면의 두께보다 반대 측면의 두께가 얇은 것을 특징으로 하는 엘씨디 모듈.
- 제 5 항에 있어서, 상기 TCP 수납부는 상기 도광판의 두께가 가장 얇은 영역과 대응되는 위치에 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 엘씨디 모듈.
- 제 6 항에 있어서, 상기 TCP 수납부의 폭은 상기 테이프 캐리어 패키지 중 상기 몰드프레임의 후면에 위치하는 상기 테이프 캐리어 패키지의 길이보다 넓고, 상기 TCP 수납부의 깊이는 상기 구동드라이브 IC를 포함하는 상기 테이프 캐리어 패키지의 두께보다 큰 것을 특징으로 하는 엘씨디 모듈.
