Abstract
PURPOSE: A tubelike electrode fluorescent lamp and a fabricating method thereof are provided to enhance the luminance and the efficiency by forming an external electrode and an internal electrode at an external wall and an internal wall of both ends of a glass tube. CONSTITUTION: A liquefied metallic material(20) is coated on an inner wall and an outer wall of both unsealed end portions of a glass tube(10). The first thermal process for the both end portions of the glass tube(10) is performed to sinter the liquefied metallic material(20). The second thermal process for the both end portions of the glass tube(10) is performed to permeate particles of the liquefied metallic material(20) into an interface of the glass tube(10). The glass tube(10) is sealed by performing the second thermal process. An external electrode(11) and an internal electrode(12) are formed at an external wall and an internal wall of the both ends of the glass tube(10). A sealing portion(13) is formed between the external electrode(11) and the internal electrode(12).
