Description
Claims (4)
- 단말기가 자신이 수신할 데이터를 전송하는 기지국(또는 섹터)을 선택적으로 선정하는 고속 무선 데이터 통신(HDR) 시스템에서,액티브 셋내의 모든 기지국(또는 모든 섹터)으로부터 기지국의 부하 정보인 수신 확률값들을 제공받는 단계와;상기 수신 확률값들과 상기 액티브 셋내의 모든 기지국(또는 모든 섹터)들 중 하나의 기지국(또는 섹터)에 요구할 데이터 전송율 정보를 곱하여 그 곱이 최대가 되는 하나의 기지국(또는 섹터)에 상기 요구할 데이터 전송율로 순방향 데이터 전송을 요구하는 단계와;상기 요구된 데이터 전송율에 따라 단말기에 순방향 데이터를 전송하는 단계를 포함하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 이동 단말기의 순방향 데이터 전송 요구를 위한 기지국(또는 섹터) 선정 방법
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 수신 확률이 동기 제어 채널 또는 비동기 제어 채널 또는 전용 채널을 사용하여 액티브 셋내의 각 단말기에 전송되는 것을 특징으로 하는 이동 단말기의 순방향 데이터 전송 요구를 위한 기지국(또는 섹터) 선정 방법
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 수신 확률은 상기 기지국(또는 섹터)으로부터 전송되지 않는 경우에 확률치의 예측 또는 추정값으로 실제 데이터를 받은 슬롯의 길이를 특정 기지국(또는 섹터)에 데이터를 요구한 슬롯의 길이로 나눈 값을 이용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 이동 단말기의 순방향 데이터 전송 요구를 위한 기지국(또는 섹터) 선정 방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 수신 확률은 상기 기지국으로부터 수신되는 데이터 서비스의 종류와 우선 순위에 따라 서로 다른 수신 확률을 제공하는 것을 특징으로 하는 이동 단말기의 순방향 데이터 전송 요구를 위한 기지국(또는 섹터) 선정 방법.
