Abstract

PURPOSE: Polyethylene pipe connection structure is provided to connect polyester pipes for transferring fluids simply and tightly. CONSTITUTION: An inner ring(11) is inserted in the internal diameter of a pipe, and a plain pipe unit(13) of a connecting member(12) is fitted into the external diameter. A tube expander expands the inner ring. The inner ring, one end of the pipe, and the connecting member are formed as one body. A pipe-expanding unit(14) is formed on a side of the connecting member and a stepped projection is formed at the end of the pipe-expanding unit. A combining member(17), a wedge ring(16), and a rubber packing(15) are fitted into the other end of the pipe. The coupling member forms a flange, plural coupling holes to the flange, and a bolt head-receiving unit(20) to suppress rotation of a bolt. The wedge ring forms an incision unit in the shape of a tapered ring. A coupling member side of another pipe is fitted into the connecting member, a head for fitting(22) of a tension bolt(21) is fitted into the stepped projection, and then is combined to the bolt head-receiving unit and the coupling hole, by a washer(23) and a nut(24).
