Abstract

PURPOSE: A current inducing switch is provided to control power of a main device and periphery devices with the main device so that the periphery devices are automatically turned off when the main device is turned off so as to save power. CONSTITUTION: A current inducing switch includes a main terminal(100) for providing power to a main device, a power supply(200), and an auxiliary terminal(300). The power supply is composed of a current detector(210) for inducing current to convert AC into DC, a rectifying/smoothing circuit(220) for generating a specific voltage for driving a zero cross circuit from the current detected by the current detector, the zero cross circuit(230) for generating a trigger pulse near zero through the specific voltage generated by the rectifying/smoothing circuit, and an output(240) for receiving the trigger pulse to output AC. The auxiliary terminal is directly connected to one of power lines when power is applied to the auxiliary terminal and the other line is connected to the power supply. The auxiliary terminal is turned on/off according to the main terminal.
