Abstract
PURPOSE: A clay porous concrete composition containing no cement and its preparation method are provided, wherein the porous concrete composition is applied to the construction material for improving the health of the human body, and is improved in the water permeability. CONSTITUTION: The porous concrete composition comprises 75-88 wt% of aggregate; 0.6-7.5 wt% of clay; 0.24-2.5 wt% of lime; 4.0-17.5 wt% of blast furnace slag; 0.5-6.0 wt% of sodium silicate; 0.12-1.5 wt% of alkali; and the balance of water. Preferably the aggregate is at least one selected from the group consisting of aggregates with a size of 2-6 mm, 4-8 mm, 8-13 mm, 13-19 mm and 19-25 mm; and the alkali is at least one selected from the group consisting of NaOH, KOH, Ca(OH)2, CaSO4, CaCl2, NaCl, alum(alunite) and water glass(sodium silicate). The method comprises the steps of adding sodium silicate to aggregate and stirring the mixture to coat the surface of aggregate with sodium silicate; adding clay, blast furnace slag and lime to the coated aggregate and dry mixing them; and adding alkali and water to the mixture and mixing them.
