열전사 필름은 주로 중밀도 섬유판 (Medium Density Fiberboard; 이하 "MDF"라 약칭함)과 같은 기판에 피복되어 무늬를 형성하는데 사용되어 왔다. 가구부품으로 천연목재 그 자체를 사용하면 천연목재 고유의 무늬가 그대로 나타나며 필요에 따라 다양한 요철무늬로 조각하여도 무늬가 그대로 유지되어 아름다운 입체무늬를 가진 가구부품을 제조할 수 있었다. 그러나 가구의 수요는 급증하는 반면 목재의 공급은 극히 제한되어 있는 실정이므로 천연목재가 아닌 가공목재로서도 천연목재 고유의 무늬를 나타낼 수 있는 가구부품 등을 만드는 기술이 개발되어 왔다.Thermal transfer films have been mainly used to form patterns by coating on substrates such as Medium Density Fiberboard (abbreviated as "MDF"). 종래에 MDF 등의 가공목재에 피복하는 필름은 폴리에스테르계 수지 또는 폴리비닐계 수지로 된 필름에 인쇄층이 형성된 것으로, 가공목재의 표면에 직접 부착하는 형태로 피복되었는데, 이는 인쇄층과 수지층이 분리되지 않아 가공 목재의 표면에 엠보싱면이 있거나 굴곡면이 있는 경우에는 전사가 불가능한 문제가 있었다. 이러한 문제점을 극복하기 위하여 엠보싱면이나 굴곡면이 있는 가공목재에 무늬모양을 피복할 수 있는 곡면피복용 열전사필름이 개발된 바 있다 (대한민국 특허출원 제 93-6918호 참조). 그러나 이러한 곡면피복용 열전사 필름은 제조공정이 번거롭고 장시간이 소요되며, 실제로 가공 목재에 피복하였을 때 인쇄층이 쉽게 탈색되는 문제점이 있었다.Conventionally, a film coated on processed wood such as MDF is formed of a printing layer on a film made of polyester resin or polyvinyl resin, and is coated in a form of directly adhering to the surface of the processed wood, which is a printing layer and a resin layer. 이에 본 발명자는 상기와 같이 종래의 전사 필름이 가지는 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 노력하여 오던 중, ⅰ) 수지층, ⅱ) 셀룰로오스 니트레이트를 포함하는 이형층 및 ⅲ) 폴리아미드 수지 및 셀룰로오스 니트레이트를 포함하는 인쇄층으로 이루어지는 전사 필름이, 제조공정이 간단하고 전사후 인쇄층이 쉽게 탈색되지 않아 가공목재에 유용하게 적용될 수 있음을 알아내어 본 발명을 완성하였다.The present inventors have been trying to solve the problems of the conventional transfer film as described above, i) a resin layer, ii) a release layer containing cellulose nitrate and iii) a polyamide resin and cellulose nitrate. 본 발명의 실시예 1에서 제조된 전사 필름과 특허출원 제 93-6918호에 기재된 열전사 필름을 가공목재에 전사하여 비교하여 본 결과, 1주일 경과 후 특허출원 제 93-6918호에 기재된 열전사 필름은 육안으로 보기에도 탈색정도가 심하였으나 본 발명의 실시예 1에서 제조된 전사 필름은 전사후 인쇄층의 탈색이 전혀 일어나지 않았다. 이는 이형층으로서 셀룰로오스 니트레이트와 폴리우레탄 수지를 사용하고, 인쇄층에 폴리아미드 수지를 안료와 배합하여 사용한 것이 작용한 결과로 보여진다.The transfer film produced in Example 1 of the present invention and the thermal transfer film described in Patent Application No. 93-6918 were compared to the processed wood, and as a result, after one week, the thermal transfer described in Patent Application No. 93-6918 was obtained.
