Claims (3)
- 데시메이터(2,12)를 통해 중복성이 제거된 현재 영상 프레임과 이전 영상 프레임의 화소값의 차이의 절대값인 추정 오차를 비교하여 움직임 벡터를 출력하는 저해상도 움직임 추정부(6,16) 및, 상기 저해상도 움직임 추정부(6,16)에서 출력된 움직임 벡터를 원래의 고해상도 화상에서 움직임 벡터로 변환하고, 이 고해상도 화상에서의 움직임 벡터를 기점으로 외부로부터 입력된 현재 영상 프레임과 이전 영상 프레임의 화소값의 차이의 절대값인 추정오차를 비교하여 움직임 벡터를 출력하는 고해상도 움직임 추정부(10,20)를 포함하여 구성된 움직임 추정장치에 있어서, 상기 저해상도 움직임 추정부(6,16)에서 출력된 움직임 벡터와 상기 고해상도 움직임 추정부(10,20)에서 출력된 움직임 벡터에 따라 상기 고해상도 움직임 추정부(10,20)의 탐색영역을 제어하는 탐색영역 제어부(30,40)가 추가로 구비된 것을 특징으로 하는 움직임 추정장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 탐색영역 제어부(30,40)는 상기 저해상도 움직임 추정부(6,16)에서 출력된 움직임 벡터값과 상기 고해상도 움직임 추정부(10,20)에서 출력된 움직임 벡터값을 비교하여 움직임 벡터값의 차값을 출력하는 비교부(32,42) 및, 상기 비교부(32,42)에서 출력된 움직임 벡터 값의 차값에 따라 상기 고해상도 움직임 추정부(10,20)의 탐색영역을 제어 하는 탐색영역 결정부(34,44)를 포함하여 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 움직임 추정장치.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 탐색 영역 결정부(34,44)는 상기 비교부(32,42)에서 출력된 움직임 벡터값의 차값이 크면 상기 고해상도 움직임 추정부(10,20)의 탐색영역을 크게 하고, 상기 움직임 벡터값의 차값이 작으면 상기 고해상도 움직임 추정부(10,20)의 탐색 영역을 작게 하도록 된 것을 특징으로 하는 움직임 추정장치.
