Abstract
Description
図1は、実施の形態1に係る電池モジュールの概略構造を示す斜視図である。図2は、カバー部材を取り外した状態の電池モジュールを示す斜視図である。なお、図1及び図2では、溶接部10を模式的に図示している。電池モジュール1は、電池積層体2と、一対のエンドプレート4と、一対の拘束部材6と、カバー部材8と、溶接部10とを主な構成として備える。電池積層体2は、複数の電池12を含む。本実施の形態では、一例として8個の電池12がバスバー(図示せず)により直列に接続されて、電池積層体2が形成されている。
実施の形態2に係る電池モジュールは、エンドプレートの構造が異なる点を除き、実施の形態1と共通の構成を有する。以下、本実施の形態に係る電池モジュールについて実施の形態1と異なる構成を中心に説明し、共通する構成については簡単に説明するか、あるいは説明を省略する。図6は、実施の形態2に係る電池モジュールの一部を模式的に示す断面図である。図6では、XY平面に平行な断面を図示している。また、図6では、電池12の内部構造の図示を省略している。
実施の形態3に係る電池モジュールは、エンドプレートの構造が異なる点を除き、実施の形態1と共通の構成を有する。以下、本実施の形態に係る電池モジュールについて実施の形態1と異なる構成を中心に説明し、共通する構成については簡単に説明するか、あるいは説明を省略する。図7は、実施の形態3に係る電池モジュールの一部を模式的に示す断面図である。図7では、XY平面に平行な断面を図示している。また、図7では、電池12の内部構造の図示を省略している。
Claims (6)
- 積層された複数の電池を含む電池積層体と、
前記電池の積層方向における前記電池積層体の両端に配置される一対のエンドプレートであって、少なくとも一方のエンドプレートが第1金属で構成される第1部分と第2金属で構成される第2部分とを有し、前記第1金属は前記第2金属よりもヤング率が高い金属であり、前記第2金属は前記第1金属よりも密度の小さい金属である、一対のエンドプレートと、
前記第1金属で構成され、前記積層方向で前記電池積層体と前記一対のエンドプレートとを挟む拘束部材と、
前記エンドプレートの前記第1部分と前記拘束部材とを接続する溶接部と、
を備えることを特徴とする電池モジュール。 - 前記第1金属は、鉄及びステンレス鋼からなる群から選択される少なくとも1種を含み、
前記第2金属は、アルミニウム、マグネシウム及びこれらの合金からなる群から選択される少なくとも1種を含む請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。 - 前記エンドプレートは、前記第1部分と前記第2部分との間の熱伝導を抑制する熱伝導抑制部を有する請求項1又は2に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記第2部分は、凹部を有し、
前記第1部分は、少なくとも一部が前記凹部内に配置される請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の電池モジュール。 - 前記凹部の深さは、前記第1部分の積層方向の厚さよりも大きい請求項4に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記第1部分と前記第2部分とを固定する固定部材をさらに備える請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項に記載の電池モジュール。
