Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the yield of a blank and to reduce a product cost without providing a rib and bar by providing the engaging part projecting downward on the blank at intervals along the straight line extending in a feeding direction and engaging the engaging part with the groove of the guiding member. CONSTITUTION:A semiformed product 12 is formed with the blanking of the initial stage and then A-F pressings are executed on the semiformed product 12 according to the blank 10 being intermittently fed. A cut-bending piece 20 as of an engaging part is formed in a dot at adequate intervals along the straight line extending in the feeding direction of the blank 10 on the center part in the width direction of the blank 10. A groove 40 extending in the longitudinal direction is formed on the upper face of a lifter 26, the cut-bending piece 20 is fitted into the groove 40 and the movement of the blank 10 is guided by the engagement of the cut-bending piece 20 and groove 40.

As described in Japanese Patent Application No. 58-29598, a conventional press processing apparatus sequentially performs a plurality of press processes while a strip-shaped material is fed in its longitudinal direction, forming a desired shape. There is a progressive type that molds products. In this type of press processing equipment, multiple press processing machines are
The materials are arranged at regular intervals, and the materials must be accurately guided and fed in the direction of the arrangement. However, since it is not possible to guide the part to be processed by the press machine, the both sides of the material 100 in the width direction are guided as shown in FIG. This material 10
0 is processed symmetrically with respect to a center line extending in the longitudinal direction while being fed in the direction indicated by the arrow in the figure, so that two products are molded at a time. Each semi-molded product 102 in the middle of molding is converted into a material 100 in the final process.
The materials 100 are connected at the center in the width direction until they are separated and made into a product, and the materials 100 extend laterally in opposite directions from the joints connecting adjacent semi-molded products 102. Formed transverse bone 104
and a pair of vertical ribs lσ6 extending in the longitudinal direction of the material 100 and connecting the protruding ends of the horizontal ribs 104, respectively.
07. This crosspiece 10
7 is formed in the initial step of a series of press working, and each vertical rib 106 is guided in movement by the side walls of guide members 108 disposed along the longitudinal direction on both sides of the material 100. Material 1 from member 108
The material 10 is prevented from rising upward by the bottom portion 110 extending toward the 00 side.
The feed of 0 is guided.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention However, when guiding the material 100 as described above,
Providing the horizontal ribs 104 and the vertical ribs 106 causes a problem in that the yield of material decreases significantly and the cost of the product increases. Moreover, since the width of the material 100 becomes large and the guide member 108 is provided on the side thereof, there is also a problem that the press processing apparatus becomes large in size.

According to the material guiding method configured as described above, the material is guided by the engagement between the engaging portion and the groove of the guide member provided below the engaging portion, and the material is guided by the engaging portion and the groove of the guide member provided below the engaging portion. It is not necessary to provide ribs or crosspieces as in the case of guiding in the conventional method, and the yield of the material is improved, resulting in the effect of reducing product costs.

This material 10 is in the form of a thin strip, and while being fed in the direction indicated by the arrow in the figure, it is sequentially subjected to a plurality of press operations to form a product in a predetermined shape. The material 10 is previously wound into a roll, and is supplied to a press processing device by a supply device (not shown). In the press processing apparatus of this embodiment, punching is performed in the first step, and the semi-formed product 12 has a shape that approximately corresponds to the expanded shape of the product obtained by this press processing apparatus.
is formed. Next, as the material 10 is fed intermittently, the semi-molded product 12 is sequentially subjected to six press processes A to F (with an idle process in between, as the case may be). During this series of press working, each semi-molded product 12 is connected at the center in the width direction of the material 10, and is separated from the material 10 at the final stage to obtain a product 14. . Note that this material 10 is processed symmetrically with respect to a center line extending in the longitudinal direction, so that two products 14 can be obtained each.

The lifter 26 has a longitudinal shape as shown in FIG. 2, and is fitted into a groove 30 of a lower mold 28 disposed below the material 10 so as to be movable up and down in an attitude extending in the feeding direction. ,
A plurality of rods 32 are fixed to the lower surface thereof with bolts 34 at appropriate intervals in the longitudinal direction. These rods 32 are fitted into stepped holes 36 formed in the lower die 28 so as to open into the grooves 30, and are movable up and down.
is biased in a direction that causes it to rise. The lifter 26 has its upper part protruding from the upper surface of the lower mold 28 when not being processed, and maintains the material 10 at a feeding position where it is raised a short distance from the upper surface of the lower mold 28, while during processing, it is moved by lowering of the upper mold (not shown). As the material IO is lowered, it is lowered against the biasing force of the spring 38, and when the upper die is raised, it is raised by the biasing force of the spring 38, and the material 1
0 is returned to the feed position.

As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, a groove 40 is formed in the upper surface of the lifter 26 and extends in the longitudinal direction thereof. The width of this groove 40 is formed to a size that allows the cut piece 20 to engage the side surfaces of 'a40 on a pair of side surfaces parallel to the feeding direction and to move within the groove 40,
After the cut pieces 20 are formed in the initial step, they are fitted into the grooves 40, and the movement of the material 10 is guided by the engagement between the cut pieces 20 and the grooves 40. In this embodiment, the beam lid 26 functions as a guide member, and in this way, the material 10 is provided below and the lid 26
By being guided by 6, there is no need to provide a crosspiece as in the case where the material is guided on the side thereof, and the yield of the material can be improved.
