<考案が解決しようとする問題点>

などの装飾層1aを表面に設けて一体押出しで形
成されていた。また、コーナーモール2は、重量
低減のため内部を肉盗みする場合の形状維持、お
よび車体取付用のボルト等の固着、さらに長手方
向に対して屈曲部Aを有し、断面形状に変化があ
るため押出成形できない点から、モール本体2b
をABSなどの硬質合成樹脂材料により射出成形
し、表面にメツキ処理を施して金属光沢を有する
装飾層2aを形成させ、そしてモール本体2b両
側端部に緩衝材3を介在させて車体コーナー4な
どに装着していた(第2・3図)。なお、コーナ
ーモール2において、アルミ光沢箔を表面に設け
て射出成形により一体成形した場合には、成形後
常温に戻つた際、アルミ光沢箔にしわが生じた
り、あるいはアルミ光沢箔が剥離したりするた
め、金属光沢を有する装飾層は通常メツキ処理で
