When the cement eaves are covered with straw, there is a drawback that if the eaves next to each other are lined up with the straw butt against each other, there will be gaps between them, allowing light to leak through. In particular, since the hanging parts at the tips of the eaves protrude from the tips of the eave ceilings, when looking up from under the eaves, light can be seen leaking through the gaps between the hanging parts, making the gaps easily noticeable. Therefore, it is possible to create a seam by overlapping straw A′ for the eaves if the metal of the metal plate is straw (however, there is a problem with corrosion), but if the eaves are made of cement and have straw A′, In order to fit them together, it is necessary to bend part 6 of the sag 2' by the thickness of the sag 2' as shown in Figures 1a and b, and for this reason, the surface of the sag 2' is not flush. Width d only (6mm thick asbestos cement board eaves with straw d=10
mm or more) had the disadvantage that grooves 5 were formed at the seams.

This invention was made in view of the shortcomings of the conventional example mentioned above, and its purpose is to build the eaves of the eaves next to each other on the left and right so that they are butted so that the top surfaces are flush, without overlapping the straw. Cement-based eaves that are roofed with straw can be connected flatly so that there are no steps or grooves in front of the joints of the hanging parts, and gaps can be created at the joints of the hanging parts that protrude from the eave ceiling. The goal is to prevent light from leaking and to make the gaps less noticeable when looking up from under the eaves. Moreover, the aim is to make it easy to butt the eaves with straw.

Hereinafter, the present invention will be explained in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. Reference numeral 1 denotes a flat roofing part in the form of straw, and a hanging part 2 is made to hang down from the front edge of the roofing part 1 to form a straw A at the eaves. This eaves straw A is formed of asbestos cement or cement mortar, and the cross-sectional thickness t of the hanging portion 2 is 10 mm or more. An engagement protrusion 3 is provided protruding from the lower part of one side of the hanging part 2, and an engagement recess 4 having the same shape as the engagement protrusion 3 is cut out from the lower part of the other side. The hanging portion 2 is located near the engagement protrusion 3 or the engagement recess 4.
The surface, including the surrounding area, is flush with the surface. Engagement protrusion 3
The upper edge and the upper edge of the engaging recess 4 may be a sloped surface with a gentle downward slope as shown in FIG. 2, or may be a horizontal surface as shown in FIG. Further, the roofing portion 1 may have straw-like waves as shown in FIG. Incidentally, the deviation δ of the side end of the hanging portion 2 from the straight line connecting the upper end corner P and the lower end corner Q is set to be 2 mm or more.

When the straw A is spread on the edge of the eaves of a roof, the engagement protrusion 3 of the hanging portion 2 and the engagement recess 4 are fitted together as shown in FIG. By doing this, the entire front surface of the hanging part 2 is connected flush, and even if there is a gap between the hanging parts 2 and 2 due to construction errors, light will still pass through the gap as shown in Figure 4. There is no leakage, and when you look up from under the eaves, you cannot see the light that has passed through the gap, so the gap is not noticeable. In addition, since the left and right eaves are constructed with straw butt against each other, there is no difference in level between the upper surfaces of the eaves, and the eaves are constructed flush.

Since the present invention is constructed as described above, in short, one of the eaves has an engaging protrusion that protrudes laterally from the straw hanging part, and the other eave has an engaging recess that is recessed inward from the straw hanging part. By fitting these together, even if there is a gap between the hanging parts that protrude from the eaves due to construction errors, light will not pass through this gap from the top side to the bottom side, and it will be possible to look up from under the eaves. Since there is no light leakage at the gaps, the gaps are less noticeable.
Furthermore, there is an advantage that the upper surface of the straw eaves and the entire surface of the hanging part can be installed flush so that there are no steps, and the straw eaves on the left and right sides can be installed easily by butting them together.
