Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable display of the occurrence of abnormal heat generating phenomenon of a motor for a ventilating fan through lighting of a display light, by a method wherein an operation display part is formed with a CdS resistor of a photo coupler output, connected between the cathode of a rectifier diode and the base of a transistor and a resistor connected between the base and the emitter of the transistor. CONSTITUTION:In the energizings stage of a motor 1 for a ventilating fan, a transistor 9 is not energized during normal running, and thus an LED 8 is not light ON. When the rotor 1 for a ventilating fan is brought into an abnormal state and a fuse 3 is disconnected at temperature increased under the abnormal state, current flows to an LED 5 of a photo coupler input. The resistance value of a CdS resistor 10 of a photo coupler output is decreased from that during normal running, a current value is increased, and the LED 8, energizing the transistor 9, is light ON. This constitution enables report of abnormality of the motor 1 for a ventilating fan.

In the above configuration, the change characteristics of the Cds resistor 10 depending on the energization state of the ventilation fan motor 1 are shown in FIG. becomes. At this current value of 11, the transistor 9 is not conductive, and therefore the light emitting diode 8 is not lit. When the motor 1 of the ventilation fan is in an abnormal state and the temperature and the fuse 3 are blown, current flows through the light emitting diode 6 of the photocoupler input and the Cds resistor 1 of the photocoupler output.
The characteristics of 0 are as shown at point B. The resistance value R2 is smaller than the normal value R1, and the current value is larger.
The transistor 9 is made conductive and the light emitting diode 8 is turned on. Therefore, it is possible to notify of an abnormality in the motor 1 of the ventilation fan.
