There are types where the seat cushion and seat back are integrated and can be moved forward, and there are separate types where only the seat back is separate and can be reclined and moved forward.

つた。 In such bench-type seats,
Separate bag type seat bags, which are easily operated, have been widely put into practical use because the seat bags are individually divided and can be moved forward separately. However, in the case of separate bag types, if the seat bag is not seated in a position that corresponds to each seat bag, the discontinuous part (split part) between these seat bags will hit the passenger's back, making the ride uncomfortable. Although it is equipped with a bench-type seat cushion that allows the seating position to be taken freely depending on the number of people seated, due to the seat back regulation, even if the number of people seated is small, the seating position can be taken freely. Also, they were unable to maintain their posture and were unable to take advantage of the benefits of bench-type seats.

Because it was relatively heavy, it was difficult to operate it easily. This situation is particularly problematic when the seat is of a high back type and has a wide bench type as described above.

As shown in these figures, the seat back 2 and seat cushion 3 of the bench seat 1 are separated at the lower part of the seat back 2 (around the waist of the occupant). This seat back 2 is formed integrally with the side parts 4 on both sides of the seat cushion 3, and the seat back 2 and the side parts 4 are formed integrally with each other.
is attached to the seat cushion 3 so that it can be folded forward with the center hinge 5 as a pivot, leaving the seat cushion 3 intact. On the other hand, the seat cushion 3 is fixed to the floor surface by leg portions 6 and a seat adjuster 7 so as to be movable back and forth. Furthermore, a lock device 8 is installed on both sides of the lower part of the seat back 2 to keep it in the raised state, and a lever is provided to release the engaged state of the lock device 8 so that the seat back 2 can be folded down from either side. 9 are provided on both sides of the upper part of the seat bag 2. In addition, 2a in the figure shows a headrest.

is provided. The shaft pins 15 and 18 are supported by a case 21 and a cover 22.
This case 21 is provided with a notch 21b, and the hook 20 engages with and disengages from the catcher 17 through this notch 21b.

The side part 4 is centered around the center hinge 5 along with the side part 4.
The rear seat can be tilted forward until it touches the floor, making it possible to get in and out of the rear seat. And seatback 2 tilted forward
is supported at a constant forward inclination angle by both side portions 4 which become supporting portions when in contact with the floor, so it does not fold over on the seat cushion 3, making it suitable for large and heavy seat bags 2. Even if there is a problem, it can be easily returned to the normal position with a relatively small operating force. Further, in order to return the seat bag 2 to its normal position, the upper part of the seat bag 2 is pushed rearward, and the hook 20 comes into contact with the edge of the catcher 17 and is pushed down to engage with the recess 17a, thereby maintaining the locked state.

Even if the seat is a bench type seat that provides a comfortable seating position and posture, operations for getting on and off the rear seat can be easily performed.
