Abstract

PURPOSE:To minimize uneven coating film thickness by giving the same sectional shape as a coating width control plate having an oblique angle to the side in contact with liquid in a slide hopper type injector to the sectional shape of an edge guide supporting both edges of film-like coating liquid. CONSTITUTION:At least one kind of film-like coating liquid by a slide hopper type injector 7 is struck against a supporting body 2 to be coated. ドでの塗れ広がりを最小限に抑制できるため、均一なカ
ーテン膜を形成することができる。

る。    ・ 実施例−1 本発明による塗布装置と従来の塗布装置との比較実験を
第1表に示す組成及び物性を有する塗布液を用いて行っ
た。第1図、第2図に示すスライドホッパー型カーテン
塗布装置により100m/分の速度で搬送されている厚
さ100μm、巾18cmのポリエチレンテレフタレー
トフィルム上に100cc/ポ(潤滑状態)の塗布量で
塗布した。ここでのカーテン膜の高さは20鶴、塗布中
は15cmとし、塗布巾規制板及びエッヂガイドの一体
物の材質はポリ塩化ビニル(P V C)を用い、その
接液面の形状は傾斜角度が45°、垂直高さが0.5鶴
のものを用いた。またフィルムに塗布された塗膜を冷風
により充分ゲル化したのち通常の方法により乾燥した後
、その厚みを厚み針によって測定した結果、局所的な厚
塗り、及びti*りは実質的に認められなかった。

布巾規制板とエッヂガイドの接続部での塗布液の流れを
スムースにすることによりスライド面からカーテン膜へ
の液渡しがスムースにできる。又、エッヂガイドが傾斜
していることにより、エッヂガイドでの不均一な液膜厚
形酸を最小限にすることができたことにより収率の向上
につながった。
