本考案は補強用繊維を用いて特殊織物を織成し
該織物にマトリツクス樹脂を含浸硬化させる際に
他の補強用繊維による織物を内在せしめて成る中

ものである。かかる補強用構造体は該構造体にマ
トリツクス樹脂を含浸硬化させると柱状構造体の
軸方向及び周長方向に対する補強効果が得られ、
特に中空柱状物の場合、潰し強度が重視され、従
来の柱状軸方向のみの補強に較べて極めて効果的

糸1、ヨコ糸2が互に交錯して得られた中空柱状
構造体に樹脂3を含浸させ、一方、同種又は異種
の補強用繊維糸条が少なくとも2方向に配列した
シート状物若しくは織物に同じくマトリツクス樹
脂を含浸させた后一層又は2層以上に積層した中
空柱状構造体4を前記中空柱状構造体の内部に配
置させ、次いで硬化処理を施こすことによつて共
に合体させ図に示す如き中空柱状複合材料成形物
が得られる。かかる構造体が複層化することによ
つて、夫々の積層体の特性を保ちつつ、全体的に
は夫々の特性が複合化されることによつて補強効
果が極めて大きい中空柱状複合材料成形物とな

含浸硬化させた中空柱状複合材料に於て少なくと
も二方向に配列した補強用繊維シート又は織物を
