Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the adiabatic property of a hose for connecting two boiler units of the titled boiler by a method wherein in case the connecting ports of the two boiler units are connected directly by the hose, the hose is covered with a flexible cover whose both ends can be turned inside out toward the center and which is larger in length than the space between the two units. CONSTITUTION:The hose 5 is inserted into the connecting port 1a of the solar heat hot water boiler unit 1 and is fixed with a clamper 6. Then the flexible cover 7 is arranged to the outside of the hose 5 to surround the latter and after bringing one end of the cover 7 into close contact with the side surface of the unit 1, the other end of the cover 7 is turned inside out toward the center 7a of the cover to make the corresponding free end of the hose 5 exposed. After that, another clamper 6 is fitted about the exposed end of the hose 5, the end is inserted into the connecting port 2a of the boiler unit 2, the turned end of the cover 7 is restored to the original position and attached closely to the side surface of the unit 2. 側に直接巻きつけるようにしていた。しかしなが
ら、この構成においては、断熱材15をホース1
3の外側に直接巻きつける構造であるため、ホー
ス13からの熱放散を確実に防止するためには、
断熱材15としては肉厚の厚いものが必要とな
り、その結果、コスト的に高くなるとともに、左
右の太陽熱温水器ユニツト11,12間の間隔は
比較的狭いため、肉厚の厚い断熱材15を巻きつ
ける作業は非常に困難を伴うものであつた。そし
てまた前記断熱材15の両端面と左右の太陽熱温
水器ユニツト11,12の側面との密着性もあま
