Traditionally, wooden containers, which have some degree of water absorption, have been generally used to store and display raw sea urchins with their shells removed, for example at nigiri sushi restaurants. The cost of materials is high and it takes time to make by hand.
It is extremely expensive. Therefore, "raw sea urchin"
Containers made of synthetic resin foam have also been considered as containers for storing such foods (for example, Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 40-27089). Containers such as food trays made of synthetic resin foam that can store fish and shellfish are also known (for example, Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 53-33515).
However, these known containers made of synthetic resin foam,
It is generally made of closed-cell foam, and has a skin layer on its surface that is unique to foamed resin molded products, and has no water absorbency at all. It is not suitable as a container for food products, and if it is to be used as a container for food products, other means of imparting water absorption properties are required.

As a result of studying the use of containers made of synthetic resin foam as containers for raw sea urchin, etc., the inventors of the present invention found that containers made of synthetic resin foam contain a mixture of open and closed cells. They found that if the surface of the part corresponding to the bottom plate was removed, water absorption was improved compared to when the skin layer was present, and it could be used suitably as a container for raw sea urchin, etc., and they developed a container with the bottom plate surface cut out. However, when the side wall and the bottom plate are integrally formed like the conventional container described above, cutting the bottom plate surface is difficult and time-consuming, and the manufacturing cost increases. .

In order to solve the above problems and easily and inexpensively provide a container made of synthetic resin foam suitable for containers such as "raw sea urchin", in the present invention, the frame body corresponding to the side wall part is A separately formed bottom plate is combined with the frame, and in particular, the two are easily and firmly connected by fusion using heating and pressing means from outside the container.

According to the above-mentioned container of the present invention, the frame body and the bottom plate, which are formed separately, are heated in the direction of the fitting contact surface extending over both lower surfaces along the fitting contact portion on the lower surface side of the fitting contact between the two. Since they are fused and integrated by a pressing means, the fused part of both has a width that spans the lower surface of both, and the foam is melted and solidified to become a resin and integrated, and the bond between the two is Even though it is only a part of the fitting contact part, it is extremely strong and can withstand use as a container. Furthermore, since the fused portion exists only on the bottom side of the container, the fused portion is not visible when the container is placed on a table or the like, and it appears as though the container does not have a fused portion. It is visually visible, and there is no problem when using it to store food. Also, since the fusion is caused by heating and pressing in the direction of the mating contact surface that spans both lower surfaces, the fused portion It can be placed stably on a table or the like and used without any protrusion. If the frame body and the bottom plate are continuously fused together over the entire circumferential direction of the fitting contact portion, there is no risk of water leakage from the fitting contact portion, and the fitting contact portion between the frame and the bottom plate is continuously fused. If the contact part is fused intermittently in the circumferential direction, moisture can permeate from other parts of the mating contact part other than the fused part, and it can be used as a container for foods that release moisture such as "raw sea urchin". can.

Furthermore, in the container of the present invention, the frame body and the bottom plate are formed separately, but are joined together. In particular, since the bottom plate has a flat plate shape, when the surface of the bottom plate is cut to remove the skin layer, the bottom plate is attached to the frame body. It is possible to cut the container in a flat state until it is joined to the bottom plate, and therefore, containers with improved water absorption by cutting off the skin layer of the bottom plate can be produced without any problems, and the side wall and bottom plate can be integrally molded. It can be manufactured and provided more easily than with conventional products.

Next, embodiments of the present invention will be described based on the drawings.
1 is a container according to the present invention made of thermoplastic resin foam, in which a frame 3 forming a side wall around a storage recess 2 and a bottom plate 4 fitting inside the frame are separately formed, and the container is shaped like a flat plate. A bottom plate 4 and a frame 3 are formed and fitted inside the frame 3 so that their lower surfaces are flush with each other.
and the lower surface side of the fitting contact portion 5 of both are melted and fixed, that is, fused and integrated, by heating and pressing means in the direction of the fitting contact surface with a width spanning both lower surfaces along the fitting contact portion as shown in the figure. 6.

The fusion of the frame 3 and the bottom plate 4 on the lower surface side of the fitting contact portion 5 may be performed by continuous fusion over the entire circumferential direction of the fitting contact portion 5 as shown in FIG.
As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the welding can be performed intermittently at required intervals over the entire circumference of the fitting contact portion 5 in the circumferential direction.

In addition to forming the frame 3 into a frame shape,
It can be formed by hollowing out the center of a plate made of a thermoplastic resin foam. in this case,
If the board is hollowed out by punching, the punched board can be further sliced and used as the bottom board 4. Alternatively, the frame body 3 may be formed by combining a plurality of rod-shaped foam bodies (for example, four rod-shaped foam bodies) into a frame shape using appropriate joining means.

In either case, various thermoplastic resin foams can be used as the material for the frame body 3 and the bottom plate 4, but since they are fused and integrated at the fitting contact portion 5, they must be of the same or similar type. thermoplastic resin is used.

Furthermore, as the thermoplastic resin foam to be used for the frame 3 and the bottom plate 4, a large number of the above-mentioned thermoplastic resin foam strips are arranged in parallel and bundled, and adjacent foam strips are brought into close contact with each other. If a foam with a wood grain pattern is used, which is fused to the foam, the appearance will be very good.

It should be noted that the present invention is not limited to the one formed into a planar rectangular plate shape as a whole as shown in the figure, but can be implemented in various forms consisting of a frame body 3 and a bottom plate 4. For example, the side wall part of the frame body 3 may be slightly Even if it is high or deep, it can be easily fused across both lower surfaces by heating and pressing from the lower surface side of the fitting contact portion, and it can be carried out without any problem.

As described above, according to the present invention, although the separately formed frame body and the flat bottom plate fitted thereto are combined, the lower surface side of the fitting contact between the two It has sufficient shape retention for use due to the integrated fusion that spans both lower surfaces along the mating contact area.
Moreover, since the fusion is caused by heating and pressing from the bottom side toward the mating contact surface, the fusion bond exists only on the bottom surface of the container and does not appear inside the storage compartment or in any part visible from the outside during use. Not only does it look good when placed on a table or the like, it is extremely hygienic when storing food inside the container, and there is no need to form a flange for fusing. Even in the case of a deep-bottomed container with high side walls, it is possible to easily fuse and bond across both lower surfaces by heating and pressing in only one direction from the lower surface side toward the mating contact surface, and if the bottom plate is flat. Coupled with the fact that the surface can be easily cut, containers suitable for storing delicacies such as "raw sea urchin" and other small items can be manufactured and provided easily and at low cost.
