背面電極とを互いに直交させてX―Yマトリクス
電極を構成してなる薄膜EL表示パネルにおいて
、前記前面電極の引き出しを該各前面電極と背面
電極の非交差部に前記EL層を貫通して設けられ
たスルーホールを介して行なうとともに、これら
前面電極および背面電極のリードアウトを該各前
面電極と背面電極の非交差部にそれぞれ設けられ
たリードアウト端子部より行ない、前記前面電極
の引き出し箇所にスルーホールの下地層として金
属層を形成したことを特徴とする薄膜EL表示パ
