Description
本発明は、塩素含有ビニル系樹脂に有機錫マレ
エート系化合物とソルビン酸を併用添加すること
を特徴とし、成型加工時のプレートアウトが極め
て少なく、熱安定性が良好な塩素含有ビニル系樹
脂組成物に関するものである。
公知の如く塩素含有ビニル系樹脂は熱、光によ
つて劣化を受ける。この樹脂の劣化を防止する
為、成型加工時にステアリン酸鉛、ステアリン酸
カドミウム、ステアリン酸バリウム、ステアリン
酸カルシウム、ステアリン酸亜鉛等の金属石鹸
類、ジアルキル錫マレエートポリマー、ジアルキ
ル錫ビス(アルキルマレエート)、ビス(ジアル
キル錫アルキルマレエート)マレエート、ジアル
キル錫ビス(S,S′−アルキルメルカプトカルボ
キシレート)ジアルキル錫 S,O−メルカプト
カルボキシレート、ジアルキル錫脂肪酸塩等の有
機錫系安定剤、エポキシ化合物、有機亜燐酸エス
テル、抗酸化剤等が使用されている。
これらの中で有機錫系安定剤は、熱安定化効果
が優れるので、塩化ビニル樹脂(以下PVCと称
す。)、PVCとメチルメタクリレート・ブタジエ
ン・スチレン共重合体(以下MBS樹脂と称す。)
のブレンド樹脂、PVCとアクロニトリル・ブタ
ジエン・スチレン共重合体(以下ABS樹脂と称
す。)とのブレンド樹脂等の塩素含有樹脂を成型
する際、特に苛酷な加熱条件が与えられる硬質製
品を成型する際に広く使用されている。有機錫系
安定剤の中でも特に有機錫マレエートポリマー及
び有機錫アルキルマレエート等の有機錫マレエー
ト系化合物が多く使用されている。
しかしこれらの有機錫マレエート系化合物を含
む塩素含有ビニル系樹脂は成型加工の際に、加工
機械の金属表面を汚染する所謂プレートアウト現
象をひき起す欠点がある。プレートアウトが発生
すると製品を汚染し、外観を損うのみならず、付
着物を除去する作業が加わることにより作業能率
の低下を招き、更に製品の透明性を阻害したり、
積層板等を加工する際の積層性、蒸着フイルムを
加工する際の蒸着性能を低下させる等プレートア
ウトによつて生ずる障害は極めて大きい。
このプレートアウト発生の欠点を防止するため
の方法として特許第818934号(特公昭48−
38766)、特開昭50−132058号、特開昭51−7051
号、特開昭51−20251号等が公知である。これら
の方法は有機錫マレート化合物とフタル酸、無水
フタル酸、フタル酸モノエステル、3−クロル無
水フタル酸、アジピン酸、アゼライン酸、ステア
リン酸等を併用添加する方法である。しかし、こ
れらの方法によつても未だに満足する結果は得ら
れなかつた。
本発明者等はこれらの欠点を改善すべく鋭意研
究を重ねた結果、塩素含有ビニル系樹脂に対して
有機錫マレエート系化合物とソルビン酸を併用添
加することによりプレーアウトが極めて少なく、
熱安定性が良好な塩素含有ビニル系樹脂組成物を
見出し、本発明を完成した。
有機錫マレエート系化合物とソルビン酸の併用
比率の制限は特にないが、好ましい併用比率は有
機錫マレエート系化合物に対してソルビン酸が2
〜50重量%である。又有機錫マレエート系化合物
の好ましい使用量は、塩素含有ビニル系樹脂100
重量部に対して0.5〜5重量部である。
本発明に用いられる有機錫マレエート系化合物
はジアルキル錫マレエート及びそのポリマー、ジ
アルキル錫ビス(アルキルマレエート)、並びに
ビス(ジアルキル錫モノアルキルマレエート)マ
レエート等であり、例としては、ジメチル錫マレ
エート、ジブチル錫マレエート、ジオクチル錫マ
レエート、ジラウリル錫マレエート等のモノマー
及びポリマー、ジメチル錫ビス(ブチルマレエー
ト)、ジメチル錫ビス(イソオクチルマレエー
ト)、ジメチル錫ビス(ラウリルマレエート)、ジ
メチル錫ビス(オレイルマレエート)、ジブチル
錫ビス(ブチルマレエート)、ジブチル錫ビス
(デシルマレエート)、ジブチル錫ビス(ベンジル
マレエート)、ジブチル錫ビス(シクロヘキシル
マレエート)、ジブチル錫ビス(イソオクチルマ
レエート)、ジブチル錫ビス(2−エチルヘキシ
ルマレエート)、ジブチル錫ビス(ラウリルマレ
エート)、ジブチル錫ビス(オレイルマレエー
ト)、ジブチル錫ビス(ステアリルマレエート)、
ジブチル錫ビス(3−メトキシマレエート)、ジ

本発明に用いられる塩素含有ビニル系樹脂と
は、PVC、後塩素化塩化ビニル樹脂、並びに塩
化ビニルを主成分としこれとアクリル酸エチル、
アクリロニトリル、スチレン、酢酸ビニル、イソ
ブチレン、エチレン酢酸ビニル等の1種又は2種
以上との共重合体、又PVCと耐衝撃性補強剤
(例えば、ABS樹脂、MBS樹脂)等とのブレンド
樹脂を挙げる事が出来る。
本発明に用いられる安定剤以外の公知の安定剤
例えば、金属石鹸、有機錫含硫黄化合物、有機錫
脂肪酸塩、エポキシ化大豆油、エポキシ樹脂、有
機亜燐酸エステル、抗酸化剤、紫外線吸収剤等を
併用する事が出来る。更に、その他必要に応じ
て、顔料、充填剤、発泡剤、帯電防止剤、滑剤、
難燃剤、加工助剤等を併用する事も出来る。
次に、本発明を実施例で説明するが本発明はこ
れらに限定されるものではない。
実施例中、部とあるのは重量部を表わす。
実施例 1
プレートアウト試験
PVC〔Geon 103 Ep−8 日本ゼオン(株)製〕
100部にジブチル錫マレエートポリマー(重合度
P=3.5)2.0部、〔表−1〕に示される化合物0.1
部及び赤色顔料〔#8040レツド、大日精化(株)製〕
1.0部を混合した後、テストロールにて180℃で10
分間混練しシートを取り除いた。この後、ロール
に付着したプレーアウト物質をPVC〔Geon 103
Ep 日本ゼオン(株)製〕100部に、DOP(ジオクチ
ルフタレート)25部、チタン白〔TA−100、富
士チタニウム(株)製〕2.0部、ジブチル錫ジラウレ
ート1.0部、カドミウムステアレート0.3部の樹脂
組成物で、混練しながらぬぐい取り、クリーニン
グシートを作製した。そして、このクリーニング
シートの赤色の着色程度により、プレーアウトを
判定した。又、同様に20分間混練した時のプレー
アウトの状態も観察した。これらの結果を〔表−
1〕に示す。〔表−1〕中のプレーアウトの数字
は、次の状態を示す。

熱安定性試験
PVC〔Geon 103 Ep−8〕100部にジブチル錫
マレエートポリマー(p=3.5)2.0部及び〔表−
1〕に示される化合物0.1部を混合した後、テス
トロールにて165℃で5分間混練し厚さ0.5mmのシ
ートを作製した。このシートを3cm×6cmの大き
さに切断後、予め、190℃に加熱したギヤー式老
化試験機に該シートを入れて熱安定性を評価し
た。該シートを一定時間毎に取り出し、そのシー
トの着色劣化度を肉眼で観察し、該シートの色を
無色……A 黄褐色……C
黄色……B 黒 色……D
として〔表−1〕に示した。

When molding chlorine-containing resins such as blend resins of PVC and acronitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer (hereinafter referred to as ABS resins), hard products are molded under particularly harsh heating conditions. It is widely used. Among organotin stabilizers, organotin maleate compounds such as organotin maleate polymers and organotin alkyl maleates are particularly frequently used. However, these chlorine-containing vinyl resins containing organotin maleate compounds have the drawback of causing a so-called plate-out phenomenon that contaminates the metal surface of a processing machine during molding. When plate-out occurs, it not only contaminates the product and impairs its appearance, but also reduces work efficiency due to the additional work required to remove the deposits, and further impedes the transparency of the product.
Problems caused by plate-out are extremely large, such as deterioration of lamination performance when processing laminate plates and the like, and deterioration of vapor deposition performance when processing vapor-deposited films. Patent No. 818934 (Japanese Patent Publication No. 818934) describes a method to prevent this drawback of plate-out occurrence.
