Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the overheating of a printing head, by providing a control circuit prohibiting the impact of the next dot when the number of impacts of dot data reached the definite number of times. CONSTITUTION:Dot data is stored in buffer 10 through a terminal 1. Said stored data is converted so as to be matched with the arrangement of a printer head pin by the order from a data converting circuit 20 to be outputted to a control circuit 30. The control circuit 30 outputs printing head non-impact indication when the signal, which informs that the definite number of impacts was performed, was continuously inputted from a counter circuit 40 when there is no detection signal from the count circuit 40, the indication of impact or non- impact is outputted to the head pin according to the input signal from the data converting circuit 20. By this method, the overheating of the printing head is prevented without interrupting the processing of a printer and the generation of abnormal operation can be prevented.

はプリンタヘッドピンの配置に合うように変換され、制
御回路30へ出力される。制御回路30はカウタ回路4
0から連続で一定回数分、インパクトしたことを通知す
る信号を入力した場合にはプリンタへットソンインパク
ト指示を出力すへ汐つント回路40からの検出信号がな
い場合にはデータ変換回路20からの入力信号に従い、
プリンタヘッドピンにインパクトまたはノンインパクト
の指示をさせることなくプリンタヘッド過熱を防ぎ、異
