The applicant of the present application has previously developed a device of this type in which a plurality of V-shaped metal members and a plurality of elastic metal members are mounted on a metal belt member made of endless steel strip or other material.
The V-pulleys are arranged alternately in contact with each other to form a V-pulley, and this is stretched between the V-pulley on the driving side and the V-pulley on the driven side to transmit power between the two pulleys. Further, each elastic metal member is formed into a hollow roller, which is engaged with each concave surface formed on each pair of opposing surfaces on both outer sides, and is tightened by the metal belt member from the outer periphery thereof. Each V-shaped metal member is pressed and bonded to the metal belt member via each elastic metal member, and each V-shaped metal member is slidable in and out between each pair of the elastic metal members. We have proposed a type in which the metal belt member is supported and is provided with an engaging surface facing the metal belt member so that when it engages with each V pulley, it is pressed into contact with the belt member and bonded. In this case, the engaging surface and the belt member are generally bonded by having their respective opposing surfaces in a planar shape and pressed against each other by one plane, and the bonding is further improved. There are demands to be made.

The object of the present invention is to obtain a device that meets such requirements, in which a plurality of V-shaped metal members and a plurality of elastic metal members are mounted on a metal belt member made of endless steel strip or other material. The V-pulleys are arranged alternately in contact with each other to form a V-pulley, and this is stretched between the V-pulley on the driving side and the V-pulley on the driven side to transmit power between the two V-pulleys. Furthermore, each elastic metal member is formed into a hollow roller, which is engaged with each concave surface formed on each pair of opposing surfaces on both outer sides, and tightened from the outer periphery with the metal belt member. By tightening, each V-shaped metal member is pressed and bonded to the metal belt member via each elastic metal member, and further, each V-shaped metal member is inserted between each pair of the elastic metal members inside and outside. The metal belt member is slidably supported and provided with an engaging surface facing the metal belt member, and when engaged with each V pulley, is pushed by and slides outward, and the metal belt member is slidably supported on the engaging surface. In the case of a metal belt member which is attached to a belt member by pressure contact, the metal belt member is made up of a plurality of narrow metal plates which are gradually stepped inward so that the cross section of the belt member as a whole is stepped. It is formed into a V-shape, and the engaging surface is formed into a stepped V-shape in cross section that substantially matches the engagement surface.

The V-belt 6 consists of a plurality of V-shaped metal members 8 and a plurality of elastic metal members 9 arranged alternately and in contact with each other on a metal belt member 7 made of an endless steel band or the like. In this case, each elastic metal member 9 consists of a hollow roller, which is engaged with each concave surface 10, 10 formed on the opposing surface of each pair of V-shaped metal members 8, 8 on both outer sides thereof. At the same time, it is tightened by the metal belt member 7 from its outer periphery, and according to the tightening, the belt member 7 is connected to each elastic metal member 9 and, via this, to each V-shaped metal member 8.
These members 7, 9, and 8 are bonded by mutual pressure. In other words, each V-shaped metal member 8 is positioned and fixed on the metal belt member 7, and thus each V-shaped metal member 8 engages with the V-groove 3 of the V-pulley 2 on the drive side. When the belt member 7 rotates along with the rotation, the belt member 7 is given a tension-side drive. Furthermore, during such an operation, when each V-shaped metal member 8 rotates due to engagement with each V-pulley 2, 4, the V-shaped metal members 8 tilt relative to each other; It was done smoothly using rollers.

More specifically, each V-shaped metal member 8 is composed of a relatively thick plate-like block, and is provided with a substantially U-shaped through groove 11 that opens outward, and in which the belt member 7 is connected. Furthermore, a stopper member 13 for preventing slippage is inserted into and engaged between the left and right engaging grooves 12, 12 at the upper part of the through groove 11.
We prepared the following.

Furthermore, each of the above-mentioned V-shaped metal members 8 has one on both outer sides.
It is of a type that is slidably supported inwardly and outwardly between the pair of elastic metal members 9, 9, and is provided with an engaging surface 14 facing the inner circumferential surface of the belt member 7, so that each V-shaped metal When the member 8 engages with each of the V-pulleys 2 and 4, it is pushed by the V-pulleys 2 and 4 and slides outward to engage the engagement surface 1.
4, it is pressed against the belt member 7 and is bound thereto.

More specifically, each V-shaped metal member 8 has concave surfaces 10, 10 on both sides, for example, as clearly shown in FIG.
In this case, the concave surfaces 10, 10 are formed to be more or less elongated in the internal and external directions, that is, in the vertical direction in the drawing, so that the member 8 can be moved internally and externally within this range. Thus, when each V-shaped metal member 8 engages in the V-groove 3 of the V-pulley 2 on the driving side as shown in the figure, it is pushed outward by this. sliding and said engagement surface 1
4, it is pressed into contact with the belt member 7 and is bound thereto. To explain this further, in the case shown in the figure, the bottom surface of the above-described through groove 11 is the engaging surface 14, and each V-shaped metal member 8 is connected to each V pulley 2,
4, that is, when the V-belt 6 is straight, there is some gap 15 between the engagement surface 14 and the belt member 7, but when engaged with each V-pulley 2, 4, That is, at the curved portion of the V-belt 6, each V-shaped metal member 8 slides outward (upward in the drawing) as described above, and the engagement surface 14 and the belt member 7 are pressed against each other. Thus, the belt member 7 is bound to the V-shaped metal member 8 approximately at the center thereof.

Although the above is not particularly different from what was proposed earlier, according to the present invention, the belt member 7 is formed by a plurality of narrow metal plates 7a, which are gradually stepped in the inner circumferential direction, that is, downward in the drawing. The cross section as a whole is made up of stepped V
The above-mentioned engaging surface 14 is formed into a stepped V-shape in cross section that substantially matches the above-mentioned engagement surface 14, so that each V-shaped metal member 8 slides outward as described above, and the belt When pressed against the member 7, the engagement is performed on each stepped V-shaped surface to increase the binding force.

To explain this in detail, for example, as clearly shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the belt member 7 has a plurality of stepped surfaces 7b, 7b on each side of the left and right sides, and a straight surface 7c in between. , the engagement surface 14 has a plurality of step surfaces 14b, 14b on each side and a straight surface 14c in the middle thereof, and as the V-shaped metal member 8 moves upward, the engagement surface 14 is formed as shown in the fourth figure. The belt member 7 is pressed against the step surfaces 14b, 14b on the left and right sides of the engagement surface 14 at the step surfaces 7b, 7b on the left and right sides, and furthermore, the straight surface 7
c is pressed against the straight surface 14c, and thus the bonding is performed for each metal plate 7a of the belt member 7, so that a good overall result can be obtained.

The innermost side of the belt member 7 has the smallest rotation radius and the engagement surface 1 of the hollow roller or V-shaped metal member 8.
4, the bending stress is maximum in the belt member 7. Therefore, among the metal plates 7a constituting the belt member 7, the innermost one is thinner and the metal plates 7a are thinner as they go outward. This improves the balance of stress distribution and increases the lifespan of the belt member 7.

In this way, according to the present invention, the belt member and each engagement surface of each V-shaped metal member are each formed into a stepped V-shaped cross section to provide multistage engagement with each other, and the belt member has a stepped V-shaped cross section. It has the effect of increasing the degree of mutual bonding as a whole by engaging with the engagement surface of the plate.
