本発明は洗浄蒸気の凝縮方法およびその装置に係るもの
で、従来蒸気洗浄に使用する洗浄蒸気はコイル状に形成
した冷却管に接触することにより凝縮し、洗浄槽外への
流出を防止しようとしていたが、極めて不充分なもであ
つて外部に流出する洗浄蒸気が少なからずあり、溶剤ロ
スが多いため不経済であるばかりでなく、環境衛生上か

にした直線型洗浄機に於て特に著るしく、被洗浄物の導
入側と導出側か開口されているとともに被洗浄物が速い
速度で移動しているため、導出方向に気流を生じ溶剤蒸
気の流出を特に生じ易いものであつた。本発明は上述の
如き欠点を除去したものであつて、冷却洗浄液を流下さ
せて液カーテンを形成し、この液カーテンに溶剤蒸気を
接触させることによ溶剤蒸気を凝縮するものであつた、
従来の如き冷却パイプという固体と蒸気の接触とは異な
り、冷却液カーテンと蒸気の接触であるから、接触効率
が極めて良好であつて迅速な蒸気の凝縮を可能とするか
ら、洗浄蒸気の洗浄槽外への流出等は生じることがない

の被洗浄物3を他端から連続的)に導出しながら蒸気洗
浄を行うようにしたものであつた、ヒーター4を備えた
蒸気発生器5を連通管6を介して蒸気洗浄槽2の上端に
接続し、この接続口7に形成したノズル8に臨ませて長

に傾斜させたフィン15を適宜間隔で上下方向に多数形
成し、このフィン15に冷却液管13から導入した冷却
洗浄液を流下させて液カーテン16を形成する。また被
洗浄物3の通過路9の下端には、フィン15方向に噴出
口17を開口した、加圧気体の噴出体18を形成し、加
圧気体をフィン15方向に噴出することよつて、フィン
15および液カーテン16方向に溶剤蒸気を強制流動し
、溶剤蒸気を液カーテン16に接触させることにより溶
剤蒸気を凝縮するとともに噴出口17から噴出した加圧
気体は、邪魔板20を介して蒸気洗浄槽2外に接続した
導出管21から、噴出体18内の流入管22に還流して
循還する。また蒸気洗浄槽2の下端には液カーテン16
として使用した洗浄液11を一時収納するプールタンク
23を接続し、このプールタンク23からのオーバーフ
ロー液を蒸気発生器5にオーバーフロー管24で導くと
ともにポンプ25を介し,て冷却器12に接続している
。本発明は上述の如く構成したものてあるから、従来の
如く冷却バイブという固体と蒸気の接触とは異なり、冷
却洗浄液の液カーテンと蒸気の接触てあるから、接触効
率が極めて良好であつて迅速2な蒸気の凝縮を可能とす
るから、蒸気洗浄槽の一端より導入した長尺状の被洗浄
物を他端から連続的に導出しながら洗浄を行うようにし
た直線型洗浄機に於ても、洗浄蒸気の洗浄槽外への流出

て洗浄蒸気を発生させ、この洗浄蒸気を蒸気洗浄槽に導
入し、被洗浄物を洗浄作業一回毎に洗浄槽に入替えて行
う入替式洗浄機26に用いることも可能であり、この場
合は第3図に示す如く蒸気洗浄槽2と連通する部分にフ
ィン15を適宜間隔で上下方向に多数形成し、このフィ
ン15に冷却した洗浄液11を流下させて液カーテン1
6を形成し、この液カーテン16に蒸気発生槽2から生
じた溶剤蒸気を接触させることにより溶剤蒸気を凝縮す

カーテンに溶剤蒸気を接触させることにより溶剤蒸気を
