本発明は土壁、石膏ボード、セメントモルタル、発泡コ
ンクリート板、PC板(プレキャストコンクリート板)
等の表面に被覆して美麗な金属様光沢を呈する壁装材用

用いて前記主材料の表面を被覆することによって得られ

に対し、結合剤として有効な量の合成樹脂ェマルション
またはメラミン樹脂など或いは両者の混合液と水及び体
質顔料を着色顔料を任意の色調に発色しうるように混合
して作った、着色液を加えてよく混練りしたのち、乾燥
させて着色粒状物を調製する。次にこの粒状物の比重お
よび粒度分布より得た平均粒子径から表面積を求める簡
便式〔6/(比重×平均粒子径)〕より算出された表面
積当り1〜100タノメパール顔料に対し、100〜1
00の重量部の合成樹脂ェマルションを結合剤として加
えた液をさきの予め着色した粒状物に加えてよく混練し
、乾燥させることによって金属様光沢を呈する塗装材用
素材が得られるのである。かくして得られた本発明の壁
装材用素材を用いて金属様光沢を呈する壁材を得るに当
っては、この壁装材用素材にカルボキシメチルセルロー
スのような合成糊料1〜15重量部を加えてよく混合し
たのち、接着剤として酢酸ビニルェマルションのような
合成樹脂ェマルションの10〜5の重量部を予め水10
0〜60の重量部に分散させた液を作り、これを混じて
着色粉粒物を湿潤せしめ鐘塗りに適したしかも金属様光
沢を現出させうる壁装村とすることができるのである。The appropriate particle size is about 10 to 100 mesh.
