Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable evaluation of the temp. and heat sense in each part of a human body even if the conditions for temp. and heat environment change by forming a body of a resin having the heat characteristic equiv. to the heat characteristic of the skin layer of the human body and filling with a gelly-like material having the heat characteristic equiv. to the heat characteristic of the internal tissue of the human body. CONSTITUTION:Wire-shaped heaters B are spirally provided in the inside of an outside body made of a resin having the coefft. of propagation approximately equal to the coefft. of temp. propagation of the skin in respective parts D1-D9' and a gelly-like material E having the coefft. of temp. propagation approximately equal to the coefft. of the temp. propagation of the muscular tissue of the human body is filled in the other spaces of the inside. The heater wires B are connected via conductors F to a control part 4 and are controlled respectively independently to a specified calorific value. The respective parts are heated from the inside by the heaters B and the temp. on the outside surface of the body fluctutating according to a temp. change on the environment side coincides well with the fluctuation in the skin temp. of the human body when said change arises. Such change can be monitored by a temp. sensor C. The environmental conditions where the body 2 is placed are thus evaluated by the temp. on the surface of the body at a transient state and at a stationary state.

With this configuration, evaluation is possible when the thermal conditions of the environment are constant, that is, in a steady state.
Immediately after the start of heating and cooling, or in transient conditions such as the environment created by equipment that performs 0N10FF control, the thermal characteristics of the materials that make up the main body differ from those of the human body, so it is impossible to evaluate this. It had drawbacks.

With this configuration, the amount of heat generated is approximately equal to the amount of heat dissipated from the continent, and the temperature on the surface of the main body, which is formed by the heat balance between the main body and the environment, fluctuates in the same way as the human skin temperature even in a transient state.

As shown in Fig. 4, each part from 1 D to D'9 is provided with a linear heater B in a spiral shape inside a resin outer body 3 whose temperature propagation coefficient roughly corresponds to that of the skin. The other spaces are filled with a jelly-like substance E that roughly matches the temperature propagation rate of the muscular body of the human body.

In the above configuration, each part is heated from the inside by the heater, which is conducted through the jelly-like substance layer and the outer body layer, and the heat balance between this and the environment creates a temperature on the surface of the main body that corresponds to the skin surface temperature of the human body. However, at this time, the temperature propagation coefficient of the jelly-like material layer that makes up the main body and the outer body layer roughly matches that of human tissue, so when the temperature changes in the environment, the temperature propagation rate outside the main body fluctuates accordingly. The surface temperature closely matches changes in the human skin temperature, which can be monitored with a temperature sensor. Therefore, the environmental conditions in which the main body is placed can be evaluated based on the temperature of the main body surface both in a transient state and in a steady state.

Effects of the Invention As described above, according to the environmental evaluation device of the present invention, the main body is formed of a resin having thermal characteristics equivalent to the human skin layer, a heater is provided inside, and the environmental evaluation device has thermal characteristics equivalent to the internal tissues of the human body. Since the surface temperature changes with the same time constant as the human body in response to changes in the environmental temperature, it is possible to evaluate the temperature sensation of various parts of the human body even in transient conditions.
