Abstract

PURPOSE:To permit supply of a DC-biased AC voltage to a load by one series of a power supply circuit, by a method wherein an AC voltage, induced in the secondary winding of a boosting transformer, is DC-biased by a DC voltage, which has rectified and smoothed said AC voltage. CONSTITUTION:When an inverter driving circuit 1 is started, a switching element Q1 is conducted intermittently and an exciting current is conducted through a primary winding N1 whereby an AC voltage VAC is induced in a secondary winding N2. The AC voltage VAC charges a capacitor C1 through a diode D1 whereby a DC voltage VDC is generated between an output terminal G and the secondary winding N2. The synthesized voltage of the AC voltage VAC and the DC voltage VDC is supplied to a load 2.
