Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent peeling of an anticurl backing from a support even after uses for a long period by forming a specified roughness on the reverse side of the support. CONSTITUTION:The roughness of 0.1-Xmum, where X is the thickness of the support, expressed by the center line average roughness (Ra) is formed on the surface of the support opposite to the anticurl backing by the following methods: surface treatment methods, such as sandblast, filing, chemical treatment, low- temperature plasma treatment, and corona treatment, and otherwise, the method of filling the support with particles specified in size and forming roughness on the reverse side of the support, thus permitting the anticurl backing not to peel from the support even after uses for a long period and consequently, the photosensitive body to have excellent surface smoothness.
