Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the riding comfort of a construction machine by a method in which an accumulator is connected through a mode-switching valve to an oil-pressure cylinder for operation and the capacity and early-period charged gas pressure of the accumulator are specified. CONSTITUTION:An accumulator 19 is connected through a mode-switching valve 18 to the load holding side oil chamber 8a of an oil-pressure cylinder. The valve 18 is designed to be freely switched to an interruption position (operation mode) or to a communication position (traveling mode). In the device, the relationship PG.V<n=PH.V is set up, where VF is varying amount of volume of load-holding side oil chamber, VA is capacity of accumulator, PH is static holding pressure of traveling time, and PG is eary-period charged gas pressure. Riding comfort can thus be improved due to reduction of vibration during traveling, and safe traveling can be assured because of the prevention of bumping of the working machine against the road surface.
