Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the fidelity of current/voltage converter while preventing deterioration of S/N by dividing conductive glare protection layer opposing optoelectric conversion elements formed in a row into several sections. CONSTITUTION:Plural optoelectric conversion elements 2 are formed in a row on a substrate 1 such as a transparent glass and the upper surface is coated with a transparent protective layer 3 and a conductive glare protection layer 5 opposing each element 2 is formed between each element 2 and the substrate 1 through an insulation layer 4. Then, light reflected from a manuscript surface 8 being based on an illumination light 7 through an illumination window 6 incides the element 2. The glare protection layer 5 is divided by a cutting part 21 and several glare protection layers 5-1-5-n are provided adjacently.
