Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a superconducting coil characterized by excellent superconducting characteristics and easy manufacturing, by combining a plurality of concentric circular coils having different inner diameters on the outside of a coil, on which a spiral film comprising a composite oxide superconductive material including CuxOy is formed on the outer surface of a cylindrical base material. A plurality of coils 3' and 3'' having the different inner diameters are combined in concentric circle patterns at the outside of the coil 3. Or a spiral film 2 comprising a composite oxide superconductive material including CuxOy is formed on the outer surface of a cylindrical base material 1 in a coil 3, and an intermediate film 4' and the spiral film 2 comprising the composite oxide superconductive material including CuxOy on the outer surface of the intermediate film 4' are alternately laminated in the concentric circle patterns. For example, the spiral film 2 comprising said composite oxide superconductive material is formed by using a plasma flame coating apparatus.
