Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent that a noise generated in driving means for a shock absorber will enter control means or the like for the driving means by independently providing the driving means and the control means and locating the driving means in the vicinity of the shock absorber. CONSTITUTION:Means 1 for detecting a running condition of a vehicle includes a road surface sensor 11 for detecting a damper force of a shock absorber to be generated by a fluctuation of a road surface, a vehicle speed sensor 12, a brake sensor 13 and a steering sensor 14. Detection signals from the sensors 11-14 are input into a microcomputer 4. The microcomputer 4 generates a predetermined control signal to a driving circuit 5 to thereby control the damper force of the shock absorber 6. The microcomputer 4 is provided independently of the driving circuit 5. The driving circuit 5 is located in the vicinity of the shock absorber 6. For example, the driving circuit 5 is fixed to an upper portion of a suspension supporting member in the vehicle.
