Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the artifact due to the shift of the respiration stop position of an image, by confirming the range of projection data marked in the shift of the respiration stop position of an object to be examined and reconstituting the data performing smoothing processing to the projection data of said range as an image. CONSTITUTION:The shift of positional relation is generated in different scanning projection data obtained at the same X-ray irradiation position by the shift of a respiration stop position. When projection data of a specific phase are collected from projection data due to plural scannings in an editing circuit 12, projection data accompanied by the shift of positional relation is mixed in said data. When this projection data is reconstituted, an artifact is generated in an X-ray CT image to deteriorate image quality. When projection data are subjected to smoothing processing with respect to the total angle by a smoothing processing circuit 13, the artifact is reduced in the cardiac part of a region to be diagnosed with respect to the reconstituted X-ray CT image while the lowering of resolving power is suppressed and the artifact from the rib part caused by the shift of the respiration stop position can be reduced to a large extent.
