Abstract
PURPOSE:To suppress the consumption of molten material without deteriorating the quality of a molded item and damaging molds by a structure wherein a hot runner manifold having a plurality of jetting parts, which oppose to the parting line of a fixed mold and a movable mold, and shift orthogonally to the direction of the opening and closing of the molds, is arranged so as to follow up to the movement of an injection cylinder. CONSTITUTION:Under the state that a fixed mold 16 joined to a movable mold 17, an injection cylinder 13 is moved so as to fit the nozzles 10 of a hot runner manifold 11 to runners 18. After that, when molten material is injected through the injection cylinder 13 from the nozzles 10 of the hot runner manifold 11, the molten material is introduced through the runners 15 in cavities between recessed parts 19 and projected parts 20, resulting in manufacturing molded items. As a result, since unnecessary member connected to each molded item is a solidified member in each runner 18 only, the consumption of molten material can be suppressed. Further, since no bending force is applied to the molded item at the separation of the nozzle 10 from a parting line, the deterioration of the molded item and the damage of the molds can be prevented from occurring.
