CONSTITUTION:A multi-focus lens is constituted of shell parts 11, 12, 21 and 23 in which a lens system is formed by an elastic optical material, viscoelastic substances 14, 26 and 27, and a liquid substance which are enclosed in the shell parts, and also, a guide surface 15 having a prescribed surface shape. In such a state, by controlling the injection quantity of the viscoelastic substance 14, 26 and 27, or the liquid substance, the lens surface is allowed to follow the prescribed surface shape. In such a way, an external shape of the lens can be determined arbitrarily, and even when there are various shapes of frames such as spectacles, this lens can be applied.
