Abstract

PURPOSE:To make a heat exchanger compact and use a space rationally by a method wherein two late groups composed of different heat exchangers are included into one shell and at the intermediate location of these plate groups a partition frame is placed and they are unified. CONSTITUTION:A compound heat exchanger is composed of one shell 2 and two plate groups 4e, 4c which are included into the shell. At the intermediate location of these plate groups a partition frame 6 is installed. The frame 6 is made of material with insulating property or may be composed of a hollow frame which is fabricated by steel plate and into which insulating material is filled. A vaporization part E is composed of the shell 2 and the plate group 4e and a condensation part C is composed of the shell 2 and the plate group 4c. Thereby, two heat exchangers are unified and therefore made compact and also a space can be used effectively.
