Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an excellent wind direction controller with which comfortable wind distribution in the wide range of from the breast to the face can be provided, by forming the width direction of stream smoothening plates in projecting and recessing shape. CONSTITUTION:At an air ejecting port 8 installed at the front of a cylindrical blades 102 a plurality of stream smoothing plates 1 are so installed horizontally as to cross wind. The plates 1 have projecting parts 2 and recessing parts 3 and are rotated around rotating shafts 4 at both ends and each plate 1 is linked by a connecting rod 5. When the wind flows out with an angle of alpha deg. and the plates 1 are located at the place of upward alpha deg., the wind is concentrated around the face of a person 6 and when the plates 1 are brought in horizontal direction, a part of the wind passing through the parts 3 of the plates 1 is ejected toward the person 6 with an angle of alpha deg. and the remaining air flowing horizontally along the parts 2 is ejected to the breast of the person 6. That is, wind velocity distribution proceeds with two mountains and two air streams combined in one at the place where the two streams reach the person and the mixed air is ejected in the wide range from the breast to the face.
