Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the size and weight of an actuator for valve driving by providing an operational controller for automatically self-controlling the opening/ closing action of a valve main body in self-diagnosis of the state of an actuator for valve driving. CONSTITUTION:In an actuator 1 for driving a valve body 6 of a gate 6 mounted in a flow passage 8 or the like is stored an operational controller 3 capable of loading a part of the control system. The controller 3 has a function of automatic self-diagnosis of the state of the actuator for valve driving and also of automatic self-control of operating/closing action of the valve body in response to the state. Thus, the operational controller 3 mounted on the same CPU has the functions of the control system for opening/closing control of the valve body 6 and a diagnosis action of the actuator 1 for valve driving.
