Abstract
PURPOSE:To recover a liquid substance in the form of a powdered dry substance without using a sprayer by accommodating spherical media in a drying column and drying the liquid substance by the fluidizing the spherical media heated with hot air. CONSTITUTION:A drying column 1 is divided into an air retentive room 11 and a dry room 12 by a rectifying plate 2, and the air retentive room at the bottom temporally reserves hot air from a fan 3 and the drying room at the top make the liquid substance 5 powdery by the effect of spherical ceramic media 6 and the hot air. A liquid substance dripped from a nozzle 7 attaches to the surfaces of spherical media 6 which is fluidized and heated by a hot air which flows in the dry room 12 penetrating holes of the rectifying plate 2 from the air retentive room, and the liquid substance is dried and solidified at the same time. This solidified film is powdered by the collisions among the spherical media, and a powdered product 51 suspended in the upper portion of the dry room 12 is sucked by a product recovering device. Then the product is isolated and recovered.
