Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the weight of an upper chassis and to improve the operability of a printing device by setting printing paper on the top surface of a photosensitive body, passing the printing paper above the photosensitive body, and stacking it in a tray with its printing surface down. CONSTITUTION:The printing paper 1 is arranged on the photosensitive body 10 and passed above the photosensitive body 10 in order to transfer a latent image to the reverse surface of the printing paper 1, and the printing paper is stacked in the tray 21 in order with its printing surface down. A heavy photosensitive body unit 22 is therefore arranged in a lower chassis 28 and light- weight components are fitted to the upper chassis 26, so the upper chassis 26 is reduced in size and then reduced in cost. Further, the printing paper is stacked in the tray 21 in order with the printing surface down, so the printing paper need not be reedited and the operability is improved.
