Abstract

PURPOSE:To keep a pressure receiving surface free of wear by forming a pressure receiving surface at each meshing cog stretching in the radial direction, applying braking force to this pressure receiving surface perpendicularly, and thereby suppressing the surface pressure low without causing generation of wedge effect. CONSTITUTION:Each spoke 5 at the inside of a brake part 2 is equipped with internally meshing cogs 6 which from a concave viewed in the axle direction, and a pair of oppositely oriented pressure receiving surfaces 6a stretching in the radial direction are formed so as to transmit the braking force in the regular or reverse direction. Each peripheral spoke 10 fitted to a hub 3 is equipped with peripheral meshing cogs 11 constituting a convex, and pressure receiving surfaces 11a are formed on its both sides. A pin is inserted in a pin insert path formed by meshing these cogs 6, 11, and the spokes 5, 10 are coupled in the axle direction. This construction allows increase of the length of the cogs 6, 11 and thereby the length of the pressure receiving surfaces 6a, 11a sufficiently, which permits provision of a sufficiently large area for pressure receiving.
