Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable a shutter array alignment to be linearly arranged, by a method wherein respective optical shutter arrays are so arranged as to abut on a positioning part of a positioning member. CONSTITUTION:On a center part of a long-form substrate 20 made of an opaque ceramics etc., a recessed part 21 for nesting optical shutter arrays 10 thereto is provided longitudinally along the substrate 20 with sufficient length to receive the two or more optical shutter arrays in alignment. Here, the recessed part 21 is equal in width to the respective optical shutter arrays 10 and has side faces 21b, 21c serving as positioning parts on which the respective optical shutter arrays 10 are abutted to be linearly arranged. While an adhesive 26 is applied to between the optical shutter arrays 10 and the recessed part 21, the respective optical shutter arrays 10 are successively nested into the recessed part 21 of the substrate 20 and fixed; in this manner, the two or more optical shutter arrays 10 are linearly arranged in the recessed part 21 of the substrate 20.
