Abstract
PURPOSE: To measure an electric current in an insulated circuit in an excellent state by providing an electronic conditioning circuit means which detects an electric current flowing through a conductor, generates a voltage signal proportional to the magnitude of the current, and conditions a signal for transmitting the signal. CONSTITUTION: A local power source circuit constituted of a coil 13 for fetching electric power having a magnetic core 14 is arranged around a conductor 12 and an induced voltage is supplied to an electronic conditioning circuit. The conditioning circuit is substantially composed of a modulator 15 which modulates a voltage signal outputted from a Rogowskii coil for transmitting the signal through an optical link and a transmitter 16. Measured signals are transmitted to a remote receiver 18 which is provided at a certain distance from the transmitter 16 and being operated at an earth potential by using an optical ring 17. Therefore, an electric current in an isolated circuit can be measured in an excellent state.
