Abstract

CONSTITUTION:A printer device sets each parameter associated with a printing process through displaying setting items on a display part 1. A card data reading means 3 is provided for reading card data from a memory card 2, in which the setting items to be displayed on the display part 1 are stored in the state of being translated into each language, and an item displaying means 4 is provided for displaying the setting items on the display part 1 in the language corresponding to the card data read. By reading the card data from the memory card 2 in which the setting items are stored in the state of being translated into a language easy for the operator to understand, the setting items are displayed in the language on the display part 1. Therefore, the operator can readily understand the data being displayed, and can easily set each parameter.
