Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve heat resistance and durability and to prevent the projection of a UV curing type solid electrolyte to the outside even when an element is broken by constituting the element of two sheets of electrochromic substrates provided with substrates, electrode layers and color forming layers and the electrolyte provided therebetween. CONSTITUTION:This element consists of two sheets of the electrochromic substrates 4 provided with the substrates, the electrode layers 2 and the color forming layers 3 and the UV curing type solid electrolyte 5A provided therebetween. The UV curing type solid electrolyte 5A is packed between two sheets of the electrochromic substrates 4 provided with the substrates 1, the electrode layers 2 and the color forming layers 3. Since the UV curing type solid electrolyte 5A is the solid cured by UV rays and having sufficient strength, the projection of said electrolyte from the end part of the electrochromic substrates 4 is obviated.
