Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve efficiency of a stator blade by forming penetrating slits on the hollow stator blade and providing an open-close device for the penetrating slits. CONSTITUTION:Penetrating slits 17A are formed on a hollow stator blade 3A, and the drain attached to the stator blade 3A is removed via the penetrating slits 17A. An open-close panel 23 is disposed in the stator blade 3A in the state of being in contact with the penetrating slits 17A, and is made to be slidable in the radial direction by the action of a driving part 25 comprising a bellows 27 and a pressure supply source 31. During the turbine low load driving, dried steam is prevented from flowing out therefrom by closing the penetrating slits 17A. Thereby, the turbine efficiency can be improved.
