Abstract

PURPOSE:To form a reinforced resin tubular body, the surface condition of which is favorable in smoothness and has no dent due to bubble, by a method wherein the outer peripheral-surface of a fiber reinforced synthetic resin layer is deaerated by swelling out its portions, each of which abuts against a molding surface on the central part side, further than its portions, each of which abuts against a molding surface on the split and joint part side. CONSTITUTION:A fiber reinforced synthetic resin layer 5 is formed by winding fiber reinforced synthetic resin material, which is produced by impregnating glass roving and glass cloth tapes with unsaturated polyester resin, round the outer peripheral surface of an inner mold 1 by rotating the inner mold 1. The resultant synthetic resin layer 5 is a nearly square tube having an outer surface, each corner C of which is slightly rounded and each side of which swells out in a circular arc at the central part B side from the corners C.
