Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of ozone, nitrogen oxides, etc., and to eliminate image blurring and image dimming by using a photosensitive body which changes an electric resistance through exposure and forms resistance changing images and directly attaching toner to said images. CONSTITUTION:A photoconducting layer whose electric resistance changes considerably due to exposure is formed on the surface of an aluminum drum in terms of a photosensitive body 1. When image forming light is projected on the photosensitive body 1, the electric resistance changes only in an exposure area to form the resistance changing images. When a bias voltage is impressed between the photosensitive body 1 and a developing roller 22, the toner 21 directly acts on said images on the photosensitive body 1 due to electrically attracting force, and the toner 21 adheres to said images, which are developed. Thus an electrifying process can be saved, and the occurrence of ozone, nitrogen oxides, etc., and deterioration in image quality such as image blurring and image dimming can be prevented.
