Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the congestion to await a packet succeedingly and old information from being outputted unintendedly by providing a flag aborting the succeeding packet and an outgoing station sequential number representing the order of outgoing call to the packet transferred between stations. CONSTITUTION:An incoming station number 31 and an outgoing station 32 in pairs represent a transfer packet to which stations it is to be transferred, and an outgoing sequence number 34 is given as a serial number accordingly. A flag 33 is a flag to apply the control of the sequential output in a substantial packet exchange network or commanding to abort the succeeding packet and in the latter case, the station outgoing sequence number 34 is referenced by the incoming station. Then the packets provided with the outgoing sequence number before the packets received already are aborted and a packet is outputted to a packet terminal station without awaiting a sequential packet even if a skip of a prescribed range or less exists in the outgoing station sequence number in turn.
