Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a laser having good coherence, intensity distribution having no hole or skirt and good availability by providing an output mirror having a uniform reflectivity over a whole surface to be irradiated with a laser beam, and apertures disposed at a total-reflecting mirror and output mirrors. CONSTITUTION:At least one surface of an output mirror 1 has a curvature R1, and is so finished that the reflectivity of the surface uniformly becomes r. A total-reflecting mirror 3 has a curvature R2 to form an unstable type resonator through an exciting space 4 together with the mirror 1. A laser beam 5 is amplified while it reciprocates in the resonator, thereby oscillating. Apertures 7a, 7b for limiting the diameter of the beam are disposed near the mirrors 1, 3. The apertures 7a, 7b cut the reflected lights from the electrodes and the like and so regulated as to obtain as many lights as possible from a space to be uniformly excited.
