Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a buffer oscillator immune to noise mixing or missing of a synchronizing signal by using a window signal of a period measurement means to control the passing of an external synchronizing pulse generated from the external synchronizing signal. CONSTITUTION:A period measuring means 11 counts a clock pulse S2 and consists of a counter whose count is stopped at a prescribed count, an initial value is set on the counter by triggering (loading) of the external synchronizing pulse S3 to measure the period of the external synchronizing pulse S3 by a time TM till the count is stopped by a prescribed count. Then a window signal S9 for a prescribed period TW shown in a waveform D just before the stop of count. Thus, only when the synchronizing pulse S3 comes for a period of the time TW of the window signal S9, an external synchronizing pulse S4 passing through a gate means 4 as shown in a waveform E. That is, in case of the external synchronizing signal S1 shown in a waveform A, the gate output S4 is obtained at times t3, t8. Thus, the missing of signal or noise mixture does not almost give any effect and the synchronizing signal output with the same frequency and phase is obtained as those of the external synchronizing signal even with signal missing or noise mixture.
